The Georgia Department of Corrections’ Special Agents arrested someone from the inside last week and that someone was a correctional officer.
Shantria Robbins was arrested following an investigation that revealed Robbins was providing contraband to inmates in Pulaski State Prison in Hawkinsville, GA.
Robbins is accused of violating her oath of office by bringing tobacco inside Pulaski State Prison and giving said tobacco to inmates on at least 20 separate occasions. Special Agents believe she made an estimated total of $3,000.
After being hired with the Department of Corrections in March 2015, Robbins served one year and 11 months before she was terminated on February 18, 2017.
